“Through the Darkness” Is an exploration of individual journeys that features a selection of artists depicting their experiences of venturing, and enduring the darkness of their plights. The human experience is dynamic and what one may perceive as an extremely negative experience may actually be the most formative and powerful experience. We tend to learn much more from what we perceive as unfortunate or negative experiences, as opposed to the pleasantries and “positive” experiences of life. The pain, struggle, despair, oppression, and conflict that seem problematic, may actually be the seeds of growth that lead to the birthing of the fruits of success, salvation, and freedom.
